As the all anticipated date finally come to pass in Sierra Leone, the country’s most popular song writer, rapper and peace ambassador LAJ commanded a huge turn out of Sierra Leoneans at his first ever show after he was released from the Sierra Leone Correctional Service and appointed as peace ambassador by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio for his romousness after he was been arrested and accused of theft in 2022.
The live concert which draw the attention of several investors both locally and internationally was held at the beach café Lumley beach on Saturday 9th March 2024, has left an indelible mark on the soils of Sierra Leone thereby bringing together all political parties, Ethnics and regions.
Speaking to Afriqu Europe Magazine, Isatu Bangura one of the organisers of this epic show stated that, tonight show will go down in the history book of the Land thereby paving ways for the tourism industry to be more strong and allow tourists and investors to think Sierra Leone as the best country in the sub-region .
She added that the super star and the peace ambassador LAJ is a voice that will reunite the country.
In his submission, one of the Sierra Leonean artists that was invited to perform at the show, Sony Vibes emphasized the need to be united as a country and as entertainers adding that Sierra Leoneans show ensure that they support the Tourism and Entertainment Sector in the country. Stating that the country will only see vast progress if the youths turn their backs on drug abuse and stop kush.
